Are You A Good Candidate for Online Learning?
The MSC Online Learning Program is committed to providing equal access to high quality online learning opportunities for all students. Taking an online course can be a great experience, but it does require technology skills, good time management, and being able to work independently. Online courses are different. Instead of learning by listening, you will learn by doing- by reading, writing, and other learning activities.
Districts are responsible to provide Level 1 technical support for their students (personal technology skills, desktop/laptop computer and software).
In general, lightweight devices such as Chromebooks, tablets and iPads have very limited technology support and may not be compatible with the majority of course content. Students may need to take a few extra steps to work within the confines of their device configuration. We recommend students also have a computer available to complete coursework in the event that their mobile device does not meet the needs of a course.
We’re proud to announce new Chromebook-friendly activities are incorporated into many of our courses with a separate Chromebook tab.

PLEASE NOTE: Students are required to have a personal email address in order to register. This can be a school account or a free web-based account like Gmail. A parent/guardian can not use the same email address as the student if access to the student’s online activity is desired.
All registration and course information will be sent via email only, from a noreply@ address. Verify your email filters will allow receipt.
We only recommend using Firefox or Chrome for your internet browser to access courses. Students may also need computer access for many course requirements. Due to the wide array of technologies, there are limitations to browsers and devices we can support.
If the course(s) are being paid by the parent, a check/money order made out to “MSC Online Learning” should be sent to the following address. In addition to the registration, once payment is received, the course will be opened for student access.
